Participate in a demonstration of traditional cooking, to totally satisfy the senses of even the most refined foodies, then be carried away by the rhythm of ‘pizzica’, the traditional folk music that expresses the heritage and culture of Salento. This is a highly recommended and unique chance to immerse yourself fully in the Salentinian culture at the Mulino a Vento, which is enriched with local knowledge.
The exploration continues to the hinterland of Salento, with its crypts and menhirs, weaving workshops, coastal lighthouses and towers which provide the backdrop to our guided tours.
Sunday 7.30pm: Reception Aperitif Welcome to Salento
Monday at 10pm: Guided Tour: Dive into the parallel world of the oil mills. Visit a 17th century mill Mulino a Vento with the screening of a short film by Edoardo Winspeare.
Tuesday 5.00pm: Hands-on pasta workshop: a typical Salentinian cooking workshop with chef Aldo Pagliara.
10pm: Traditional Desserts from Salento: The preparation and tasting of local desserts with Aldo Pagliara
Wednesday 7.30pm: An intoxicating trip and sensory journey to taste and learn about the wines that embody the soul of Salento.
Thursday 8.00pm: Grand Buffet Dinner Sallentum to taste and discover the local products of the culinary traditions of Salento.
Friday 10pm: Everybody’s mad about Pizzica live music with local folk group Aranee. Let yourself go, relax and be possessed by the irresistible rhythm of our music.
